Sandwich Time

Sandwiches were king this weekend. Spicy chili dogs and spicy Harris Teeter brand hoagie over the weekend. I get on food streaks and I seem to be on a sandwich streak right now.  I bought a pack of hoagie rolls, so interesting things, sandwich things, are bound to happen.

Harris Teeter Brand Veggie Sub, four drops of Insanity sauce.

Veggie Chili Veggie Dogs, the hot sauce is hard to see but it's there, quietly kicking it up a notch.

Thinking about it, this could have been called the "What is Hot Sauce Good On?" blog. The answer, of course, is everything but I could have tried to prove it. I see a possible side project on the horizon.

My current sauce level is above the "P" in Heart/Respiratory Problems

Sausages and Facts.

The hot sauce adventure continues with a veggie sausage lunch with english mustard and three dallops of Dave's.

Did you know that,

  • Insanity Sauce was invented in College Park, Md at a restaurant called Burrito Madness as a way to get rid of drunks at the end of the night. GO TERPS!
  • Blair of Blair's Death Sauce got started the same way on the Jersey Shore, fist pump.

Three Months In....

This is the first post, how exciting. However we are already in month three of this grand experiment. The plan is to document when I eat delicious Dave's Insanity Sauce. I love the sauce, wink wink, hot sauce that is, and I was curious to know how long it would take me to eat an entire bottle. According to Dave himself it's about three years in between bottle purchases. I think I can beat that. I bought my bottle a few months ago and only had the idea to document its consumption a little while ago.

Ok so let's go. Day Month Three:

One Totinos 'Za with added onions, broccoli, tomatoes, cilantro, mushroom and shredded cheese and of course Dave's Insanity Sauce.

I'm half way through the bottle but I think I have a long way to go.
